In preparation to the 21st Icons Exhibition in the Crafts Gallery here in Kilkenny you see my piece "Shades of Green" being photographed by Trevor Harte and modelled by Blathnaid.

Yesterday was the opening. It is very well curated exhibition of a wide variety of works. The curator was Anne Mulrooney of the CCoi. It began " by asking makers to revisit the past in the form of the torc, an instantly recognisable icon of Celtic identity. The bronze and gold neckwear of the Celts was of immense importance as a symbol of status. If we were to design a neckpiece now that conveyed something about us to the world , what would they say? And would they look like?..."
